A Note of Thanks To All For Supporting Our Haiti Earthquake Relief Efforts

On May 19th the Niagara Falls ICC Chapter hosted their annual Lasagna Dinner. Over 200 people attended the dinner, organized by longstanding board members Liz Froese and Lino Mori.  Attendees raised over $ 7,000 dollars toward Haiti Earthquake Relief.

In addition, ICC Canada has received a tremendous outpouring of support from numerous organizations. We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to our ICC Chapters and all persons, churches, schools and organizations that have donated their precious resources toward earthquake relief since January. We would like to recognize and thank the following organizations for their recent financial contributions toward our Haiti Relief Efforts:

  • The D.H. Falle Family Foundation
  • The Caribbean Workers Outreach Project-Niagara Fall Chapter
  • The Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia
  • Amabel- Sauble Beach Child Care Centre
  • People's Church Toronto
  • Church of the Ascension, Port Perry
  • Bethany Mennonite Church, Niagara

As a way to give special recognition to the children at the Amabel Child Care Centre in Sauble Beach Ontario, we have featured one of their pictures above. It warmed our hearts to receive the beautiful drawings from the children as well as their warm wishes for the relief efforts at Grace Children’s Hospital. Thank you to the teachers and children at the Amabel Child Care Centre!  May God Bless you all!!

We will provide more updates as we receive them.
