Prayer Request - October 28, 2003

Hello from Grace Children's Hospital!

We greet you this week, with a celebration for two of our children who have regained their health, and returned home! Wilner Jean-Claude and Dieunel Simeon left on Friday - having completed their inpatient treatment for TB. They will continue to return for the next six months for follow-up visits, so we only have to say "see you again", not good-bye.

This week, I ask you to keep in your prayers, this little one Sylvanie Jules. Actually her whole name is Ruth Marceline Sylvanie Jules - but she likes to be called just Sylvanie. She has been with us for almost 3 months now, and though she continues to improve, she has not yet reached a state of health that will allow her to return home. She is gently patient each day -- and even though we will miss her, we pray she is able to go home soon.
