Friday was a challenging day. The day started devotions and a visit to the inpatient ward at Grace during bath time and helping the kids get dressed again. Althouth the ward is much smaller in the transitional facilities, it is still a place of joy -- those kids are getting the help they need. Read more »

This morning was spent at Grace Children's Hospital. Wow! We continue to be amazed at all the great work being done here. We arrived about 8:15 and people seemed to be everywhere waiting to see a doctor. Each day they serve between 200 and 400 outpaitients. We were told everyone we saw would see a health care professional by 2:00 this afternoon. Read more »

Today was another full day of work. We delivered another load of sand down the hill and we also hauled buckets of rubble deeper into the community to the river. Rosita's daughter worked with us for most of the day. This provided us an opportunity to see another facet of Haitian life. We spent a few minutes with Rosita this afternoon when she got home from work. Read more »
