Stacy Waggoner

Stacy is an owner of Studio Four in NYC, handling sales of custom carpet and textiles to interior designers and architects. She has served on the executive committee of the Junior League of New York City as Vice President of Community Programs, and was also a trustee for the Milbank Housing Development Corp and the Grosvenor Neighborhood House. Her leadership and fundraising skills on an urban playground improvement project led her to be chosen as the New York Junior League Outstanding Volunteer in 1998. She has taken service trips to Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti.

Ellen L. Palmer, PhD RN

Ellen is the Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing. She has been involved in international health issues for more than 30 years and is a frequent author and presenter on the subject. She is very active with the Texas Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and her local congregation, First United Methodist Church in McKinney, TX. Ellen regularly leads training conferences in Haiti and the Dominican Republic for the health care professionals working for ICC. She is currently one of the three U.S. representatives to ICC’s international board.

Barry Mickey, MSW ACSW LISW

Barry is a retired chair of the Social Work Department at the University of Findlay in Ohio and has also held faculty positions at Wartburg College, Delta State University and The University of Mississippi. He was a Fulbright Professor of Social Work at the State University of Haiti in 2003 and has also held associate professorships at Wartburg College and Delta State University. He and his wife, Rev. Susan Kronbach, are both active at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, where Susan is the pastor. Barry is fluent in French and has helped to facilitate conversation and document translation for ICC’s international meetings.

Jerry works in risk management for the Farm Credit System, an agricultural lending cooperative. He has been with the company for 22 years, 17 of which have been in management positions. Jerry is also very involved in his church, Advent United Methodist, and has made 7 trips to Haiti in the past 8 years.

Jeannine Hatt, MD

Jeannine is a pediatrician who has been in private practice for 25 years and involved with international health issues for 18 years. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on International Child Health and has traveled extensively to Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Africa, and throughout the United States. She is the Chair of the Missions Committee at Waples Memorial United Methodist Church and along with her husband Chuck, a radiologist, is a frequent participant in Medical Education and Training conferences at Grace Children’s Hospital.
John Hill

John is a regional sales manager for Papillion Agricultural Company. He came into the agricultural sales business in 1999 after 25 years in pharmaceutical sales with Upjohn/Pharmacia in Kalamazoo, MI. He, his wife Carolyn, and their two children were members of Gull Lake United Methodist Church since its inception in 1981, and now belong to Grace United Methodist in Vermilion, OH. John is a leader in the Boy Scouts of America and very active in his community in a variety of organizations.

Ken has been a hospital pharmacist for 36 years and is presently employed by Borgess Pipp Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. He is a member of First United Methodist Church in South Haven, MI and also serves on the Michigan Area Haiti Task Force, the Friends of La Saline (Haiti), and the Parchment School Board. He has a passion for mission work and enjoys speaking to groups about the organizations with which he is involved. He is currently one of the three U.S. representatives to ICC’s international board.

Senator Kwame Raoul

Senator Raoul was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Haitian-born immigrants Janin Raoul, M.D. and Marie Therese Raoul. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago Laboratory High School, DePaul University (B.A., Political Science) and the Chicago-Kent College of Law. His personal commitment to the people of the south side of Chicago was fostered early in his life by the work of his father, who served as a physician to the Woodlawn, North Kenwood, Grand Boulevard and Englewood communities for over thirty years.

Tom is the training coordinator for plumbers and pipe fitters local #357. He has been involved in mission work for many years. His work includes Habitat for Humanity, trips to Haiti and working with youth on mission trips with the Appalachian Service Project.
