Making a Difference: "One Soul at a Time"

International Child Care is unique from other organizations because we offer opportunities for our supporters to offer more than just their checkbooks. ICC staff members lead
Mission Education Encounter Trips to visit ICC programs- but they are not there strictly as observers. The members of the first MEET of 2009 recently returned from their trip, and Suzanne, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown, New Jersey wrote to share some of her experiences:

Spring 2008 Grace - Mission Education Encounter Trips (MEETs)

ICC's Mission Education Encounter Trips (MEETs) are a great way to explore new cultures while still contributing to a greater purpose. As a MEET participant, you have the opportunity to learn about Haitian and Dominican culture by eating local cuisine, visiting history museums and national landmarks, and interacting with new people. But more importantly, Mission Education Encounter Trips are life-changing opportunities to serve God in a cross-cultural setting.

Reporting Live...The Albion College MEET Team

Five Albion College students and two staff members will be visiting health care programs for children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic during their spring break, March 9-16.
